Description
A lone tree stands in a field, background shrouded in fog.
This tree is a favorite subject of mine. I love to capture it in the winter evenings with the twisted branches silhouetted against the sky. On this foggy morning I was able to shoot it in relative isolation. It's close enough to the road that it wasn't hazy from the fog, yet the background disappeared into vapor. I especially like the contrasts that came about from a monochromatic treatment.
