Harris covered bridge sits on a country road west of Corvallis, Oregon. Benton County register places it at 1936, but locals say it was built in 1929, which is also posted on the bridge itself. This Howe truss bridge is still in use today.

I am a nature photographer based in the beautiful Willamette Valley of Oregon. Living in the Pacific Northwest lends itself to inspiration. I am surrounded by beautiful colors and textures, whether in the spring flowers and meadows or the majestic forests and rivers. I don't have to go far to find beautiful shots, in fact many of them come from within a few miles of my house or even my backyard. I also love capturing objects and scenes in monochrome, finding that removing color brings out the essence of the subject. I have a passion for my craft, and am always learning and growing.
