Description

My first exposure to Rocky Mountain National Park was in the fall of last year. We hiked up to Emerald Lake. The weather went from sunny to cloudy to snowing to a downpour as we got back to the trailhead. Colorado weather! Though it was cold (and actually snowing) we sat by this lake and took in the beauty that is Colorado. I like the juxtaposition of this young woman next to the old, weathered tree and the ancient mountains.
